Privacy Policy

What we collect

Account details (username, name, email, phone, role), profile details you choose to add (title, location, bio, avatar), your portfolio projects, messages and files you exchange in gigs, reviews, and support requests.

For freelancers: payout details (bank account or UPI). Account numbers are stored encrypted and only the last four digits are ever shown.

Payment records (amounts, dates, Razorpay order and payment references). Card and UPI credentials are handled by Razorpay, not by us.

How we use it

To run the marketplace: show portfolios, deliver messages, process payments and payouts, prevent fraud, provide support, and send the notifications you have enabled.

Who we share it with

Razorpay (payments and payouts), Cloudinary (file and image storage), Google Firebase (if you sign in with Google), and our email provider. We do not sell personal data.

Your username, public profile, portfolio and the reviews you receive are visible to other users.

Your choices

Settings → Notifications controls which emails and browser notifications you receive.

Settings → Data & Privacy lets you download a copy of your data and close your account.

Retention

When you close your account we remove your profile, payout details, notifications and portfolio, and anonymise your account. Payment records, contracts and reviews are kept for accounting, legal and dispute purposes, and messages remain visible to the other participant.

Security

Passwords are hashed, payout account numbers are encrypted, sign-in supports two-factor authentication, and sessions can be ended by changing your password.
